I don’t typically stop to cook lunch while I’m backpacking.
It takes a lot of time to dig my stove out of my pack, put it together, cook my food, and then put everything away again.
That’s why backpacking pizza is a great option for lunch.
This can be made on either flatbread or a tortilla and doesn’t require any cooking.
Simply spread the sauce, cover liberally with vegan parmesan, and top with Viana sausage.

2 vegan sausages cut into thin slices
2 Tbsp vegan parmesan or nutritional yeast
Instructions
Spread the pizza sauce over the pita bread.
Add sausage and parmesan.
