Description

These quick, easy, and chocolaty snacks will satisfy your sweet tooth without too much guilt. Vegan | Gluten-free


Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 Cup pecans
  • 1/3 Cup ground flax seeds
  • 1/3 Cup dairy-free semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Cup Pitted Medjool dates

Instructions

  1. Grind pecans in a food processor until they’re finely chopped.
  2. In a large bowl mix together the pecans, flax seeds, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. Add the dates to the food processor until they become a paste.
  4. Mix the dates into the other ingredients until well incorporated.
  5. Take roughly one tbsp of the mixture at a time, roll it between your hands to form a ball.

    These look super similar to energy balls… Do they provide the same energy gain? Will be mega if they do as these look far easier to make

      I don’t think I’ve had energy balls so I can’t really compare the two. The natural sugar from the dates along with the fat and protein from the nuts will definitely give you some long lasting energy.
