Description
These quick, easy, and chocolaty snacks will satisfy your sweet tooth without too much guilt. Vegan | Gluten-free
Ingredients

- 1 2/3 Cup pecans
- 1/3 Cup ground flax seeds
- 1/3 Cup dairy-free semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 Cup Pitted Medjool dates
Instructions
- Grind pecans in a food processor until they’re finely chopped.
- In a large bowl mix together the pecans, flax seeds, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Add the dates to the food processor until they become a paste.
- Mix the dates into the other ingredients until well incorporated.
- Take roughly one tbsp of the mixture at a time, roll it between your hands to form a ball.

I don’t think I’ve had energy balls so I can’t really compare the two. The natural sugar from the dates along with the fat and protein from the nuts will definitely give you some long lasting energy.
