Soy Sweetened Condensed milk

This is an incredibly easy recipe.

It does take a while, but it’s almost completely hands-off while you wait for the liquid to reduce down.

Description

Vegan sweetened condensed milk


Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup soy milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup Earth Balance
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat combine soy milk and sugar. Stir frequently until the sugar has dissolved. Avoid letting it boil.
  2. Turn the heat to low and continue to simmer until there is only one cup of liquid left.
  3. Remove from heat and add Earth Balance and vanilla.
